Probably the same source that told you Allardyce had 8 games last season?

Re: Sam going to walk away?
I think there's more to this than just the shocking display at the Hawthorns and walrus blaming it on fatigue.
There is a rift between him and Sullivan about transfer policy and the lack of any relationship with the bloke in charge of recruitment, Tony Henry.
The failure to sign Fletcher three weeks ago worsened the situation and It looks like Sullivan has had enough. If Allardyce is still there on Sunday and we suffer another poor result, it could be the end of the road.

There's some rubbish on here. "Harry Redknapp to be announced before the end of the season."

Says who exactly?

OK Nicey but Nene bought himself out of his contract. I should have said most because the unions have made MOST contracts run from 1st July to 30 June. Of course there are exceptions and thank you for pointing out my error you cunt!

"Why? It's a fixed term contract that ends at the end of May."

I think you'll find all contracts in football run from 1st July to 30th June...

Nene's didn't - argument over

Re: Sam going to walk away?
I think you find all contracts in football do not. Anyone signed in January will testify to that.

Re: Sam going to walk away?
Why? Notice can't extend beyond the contract end date, that's when the contract ends!

There maybe a 6 month notice clause but if the contract runs out at three and a half you DON'T give him notice and put him on gardening leave for it and just pay him up.

The time left is negligible and budgeted for.

riosleftsock 5:49 Wed Feb 18
Re: Sam going to walk away?
There will be a notice clause for early termination.

Three and a half months all in. As far as we know there is no mechanism for Sam to extend beyond this?

Re: Sam going to walk away?
Sydney

At that level, there is a considerable notice term.
